What the server records

The access log keeps, as any web server does, your IP address, the date, the address requested and your user agent. That is what makes an outage or an attack visible. Nothing else is recorded, and no profile is built from those lines.

The status panel

The four dots on the home page are measured at the moment the page is rendered, by four requests the server sends to itself. They depend on no outside service and send nothing anywhere.

The contact form

It emails the name, address and message you type to whoever runs the server, and nothing else. Your address is kept in the received message, for as long as it takes to reply — which is exactly what it is for. It feeds no list and goes to nobody else.

Two technical traces come with it: the date and originating IP address appear in the body of the message, and an anti-abuse counter keeps a hash of your IP address — not the address itself — for fifteen minutes.

One single item kept on your side

The word light or dark, and only if you click the theme toggle. It is not a cookie: nothing is sent to the server, and the site behaves identically if you clear it. The language lives in the address and nowhere else.

No trackers, no third parties

No analytics, no ad network, no share buttons, no remote fonts. The server’s content security policy forbids any resource loaded elsewhere: you can check it yourself, no request leaves this domain.
